Organization Overview

Support the objectives of Geodetic Engineers of the Philippines, Inc. Carry out programs and activities to assist in the continuing professional development of its members. Promote the practice of surveying in the state of Qatar. Provide assistance to the members' professional registrations/accreditations.

About Us

In 2010, GEP Qatar Chapter was organized with only 17 members. Our founding leaders realized that by working together we could overcome challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to join together. Our organization knows that strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions of our united and collective effort.

For regular members returning to their respective mother/regional chapter.
Provide opportunities for collaboration with other local and international engineering/technical bodies and agencies
Provide assistance to surveying practitioners in Qatar
Be an active participant in expatriate community activities in Qatar

What We Do

Establishment of horizontal and vertical control surveys.
Cadastral surveys for submission and approval to Land and Survey Department of the Ministry of Municipality and Environment of Qatar.
Engineering surveys such as:
- Topographic surveys
- Hydrographic surveys
- Profile and cross-section surveys
- Construction surveys
- Boundary surveys
- Tunnelling works surveys
- Other engineering related surveys.
Survey and mapping works such as the preparation of geographic and/or land information system.
As-staked and as-built surveys for infrastructures.
mineral and mining surveys.
Survey works for installation of machineries requiring the use of precision instruments.
Engagement in the transfer of the knowledge and technology of geodetic engineering in any institution of learning.
