About Us

UAP Qatar Chapter is the only UAP Chapter CHARTERED, ACCREDITED, RECOGNIZED in Qatar by the UAP National HQ, likewise, UAP Qatar is one of the founding members of Philippine Professional Organization (PPO) Qatar (2010), Recognized and Accredited by the Philippine Embassy (2010), and one of the founding/pioneer members of the UAP MENA Council (2011).

UAP Qatar Chapter, being based outside of the Philippines, conducts General Membership Assemblies (GMAs) or General Membership Meetings (GMMs), accredited Continuing Professional Development (CPD) seminars / webinars, and various social and civic activities for the Filipino Architects based in the State of Qatar.

Mission

Our mission is to extend the services and advocacies of the United Architects of the Philippines to Filipino architects working in Qatar. We are committed to:

· Organizing General Membership Assemblies (GMAs) and Meetings (GMMs) to strengthen professional camaraderie and knowledge exchange.

· Conducting accredited Continuing Professional Development (CPD) seminars and webinars to ensure that our members remain at the forefront of architectural advancements.

· Facilitating annual membership applications and assisting with documentation needs to support career growth and professional recognition.

· Engaging in social and civic initiatives that contribute to the Filipino community and the broader Qatari society.

As Qatar continues its rapid transformation into a global hub for education, sports, culture, and architectural innovation, we aim to position Filipino architects as key contributors to this dynamic development. By fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and service, UAP Qatar Chapter empowers its members to thrive and make a lasting impact in the architectural profession.

As the legitimate arm of the United Architects of the Philippines in the region, we aspire to elevate the global recognition of Filipino architectural professionals by supporting their growth, providing opportunities for continuous learning, and promoting the highest standards of ethical practice. We strive to be a catalyst in shaping Qatar’s architectural landscape while strengthening the presence and contributions of Filipino architects in the Middle East.

Our Objective

The UAP Qatar Chapter aims to serve Filipino architectural professionals working within the state of Qatar. The State of Qatar, which is currently the richest and highest in GDP per capita in the world and a fast-growing metropolis in the Middle East, provides an enviable opportunity for Filipino registered architects to showcase their professional and technical prowess in the practice of architecture. This tiny but oil-rich nation boasts its stature as Middle-East’s premier educational hub comprising of top caliber universities and educational institutes, an emerging sports and recreational hub at par with the best in the world and also being dubbed as the culture capital of the Middle East, among others.

What We Do

Being the only legitimate arm of the United Architects of the Philippines in the State of Qatar, UAP Qatar Chapter is expected to extend the services of its parent organization to its members here in the country. We assist our members in their annual membership application, and we provide pertinent documents such as certificates for various uses upon request.
